Julio Grooscors Senior Manager, Supply Chain Management Accenture, Caracas Office

Julio Grooscors is a Senior Manager for Accenture, assigned to the Supply Chain Management Service Line of the Andean Pact, located in the office of Caracas, Venezuela.

He has been working with Accenture for over 10 years, and he is specialized in Supply Chain Management, Network Strategy and Sales and Distribution Operations.

He has worked with major companies in Latin America in various Strategic Transformation Projects focused on the Logistics and Commercial areas. He is one of the company’s experts in the area of Network Optimization for the Andean Pact, and he has led several Network optimization projects for some of the largest consumer goods companies in Venezuela, as well as in other countries of Latin America. The most important clients where he has worked with Network Optimization software include: Cervecería Polar (Brewery), Alimentos Polar (Packaged Dry and Frozen Foods), Pepsi-Cola Venezuela, and Avon Cosmetics in Brazil.

Mr. Grooscors is currently a professor at the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello, where he teaches the subject “Supply Chain Operations” as an elective in the School of Industrial Engineering. He’s graduated from the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello, in Caracas in 1996 as an Industrial engineer. He obtained his Master’s Degree in Operations Management at the Instituto de Estudios Superiores en Administración (IESA) in 2002.
