LogicTools Promotes Executive to Vice President of Consulting
|
Chicago - December 2nd 2004: Shaishav Dharia, most recently Director of Consulting at LogicTools, has been promoted to the position of Vice President of Consulting. This promotion comes in recognition of his excellent performance and ability to contribute to the success of the company as part of the management team.
Since coming to LogicTools in early 2003, Dharia has been successful in bringing in follow up sales as well as new accounts. His focus has been on end-to-end Supply Chain Design and System Integration. He has been responsible for and involved in a wide range of consulting assignments covering supply chain strategies, model building, and project management. Some of the many accounts he has worked on include Del Monte, Shell and Welch's. He has also strengthened ties with consulting companies who use LogicTools' software and services in their engagements such as BearingPoint and PRTM.
“Shaishav has made a tremendous impact on our ability to provide quality service to our customers,” noted David Simchi-Levi, CEO of LogicTools and professor at MIT. “LogicTools has always focused on the combination of technology and business processes that allow our clients to maximize supply chain and business performance. Our strong consulting team is the front line in our effort to provide the most responsive customer experience in the industry as reflected by what our clients say about us.”
Prior to joining LogicTools, Dharia was employed by BearingPoint as a Manager in their Supply Chain Practice and International Paper as an Operations Research analyst in their Converting division. He holds a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering / Operations Research from Georgia Institute of Technology and is currently completing his MBA at the University of Chicago. He also holds a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mumbai, India. The industries in which Dharia has specific experience include Retail, Consumer Packaging, Chemical, Telecom and Pulp and Paper
“As one of LogicTools' successful customers in the past, I was already familiar with their products expertise and excellent customer support. However, the expanded product line and thought leadership were still a positive surprise to me when I joined the company almost two years ago,” said Dharia. “This is a very dynamic company that has always emphasized the customer first, which is why it has an enthusiastic customer base and is succeeding in this market.”
