LogicTools hires Dan Vanden Brink as Vice President Consulting
Experienced services manager to support company growth plans

Chicago - October 12th, 2005: LogicTools, a leading developer of supply chain planning solutions, announced today that Dan Vanden Brink has joined the company as Vice President of Consulting.

"The growth of the company and related services has created the need to add to our team an executive with experience building a large services organization." noted David Simchi-Levi, CEO of LogicTools and professor at MIT. "LogicTools has always focused on the combination of technology and processes that allow our customers to maximize supply chain and business performance. Our strong consulting team is the front line in our effort to provide the most responsive customer experience in the industry."

Dan Vanden Brink is a seasoned supply chain consultant with experience in supply chain strategy, planning and execution. He has been heavily involved with the deployment of leading technology to improve supply chain processes and worked with clients in a variety of industries including High Tech, Medical Equipment, and Industrial Manufacturing.

In his most recent corporate role, Mr. Vanden Brink was Director of Supply Chain Practice at SSI/Orion consulting, building a 50 person team for the Chicago office. He has also worked at US Robotics and ITT Industries in Industrial Engineering and Manufacturing roles.

Mr. Vanden Brink has a BSc in Industrial Engineering from Iowa State University and an MBA in Operations Management from the Illinois Institute of Technology. He is currently completing his Ph.D. in Operations Research with his dissertation focusing on Capacity Planning and Decision Theory. Mr. Vanden Brink also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Illinois Institute of Technology’s Stuart School of Business teaching classes in Operations Management, Strategy, and Supply Chain Management.
