LogicTools opens office in Munich and hires Patrick Lemoine as Vice President Europe
European market demand for LogicTools' solutions drives expansion

Chicago - June 1st, 2006: LogicTools, a leading developer of strategic supply chain planning solutions, announced today that it has opened an office in Munich, Germany and hired Mr. Patrick Lemoine as Vice President Europe to lead the company's expansion in Europe.
"The growing interest in LogicTools’ solutions from the European market has driven us to open an office to better support our customers and partners" said Edith Simchi-Levi, Vice President Operations of LogicTools. "Patrick has all the right skills to expand our presence in Europe, where we expect significant growth due to our industry-leading solutions and partnership with SAP. Our solutions complement mySAP SCM in the areas of network design and inventory optimization, both critical drivers to achieve supply chain performance while reducing costs."
Patrick Lemoine has more than 15 years of supply-chain experience, both as a management consultant and as an enterprise software executive. He was one of the first employees of i2 Europe. As Director and later Vice President of i2’s High-Tech Industry group, Patrick and his group were instrumental in securing i2’s position as the leading supply chain solution provider for European high-tech companies. Before joining i2, Patrick Lemoine was a consultant with McKinsey & Co. for over four years, where he advised European firms in the areas of strategy and operational excellence.
Patrick Lemoine holds an MBA from Stanford University and is a graduate in Economics and Business Administration from the Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC) near Paris. He also specialized in Operations Research while at MIT.
