LogicTools Achieves Record Growth in 2001
Supply Chain Management Leader Well-Positioned for Record Growth in 2002
May 22, 2002

Chicago, May 22nd, 2002... Increasing revenues during an economic recession is a goal that many supply chain software companies found difficult or impossible to reach. Not so for Chicago-based LogicTools, Inc. This leader in supply chain planning software achieved 40% revenue growth in the last 12-month period and is already positioned for similar growth in 2002.

LogicTools products and services, which provide unparalleled ease of use and timely results have proven attractive to any company that wants to reduce costs, improve profitability and make decisions more effectively. Some of LogicTools' newest clients include Black & Decker, Edwards Lifesciences, Fluor Daniel, Gambro, General Motors, Hewlett Packard, Kraft, and the United States Postal Service.

LogicTools has succeeded in attracting and retaining the attention of Fortune 1000 and 500 companies. According to the November 2001 AMR Research Alert on Supply Chain Management, "LogicTools' approach to supply chain network design and planning may be exactly what the doctor ordered..."

In addition to the strong sales forecast for 2002, LogicTools has steadily increased its investments in research and development, an area that by comparison with other solution providers is being downsized. "We're really expanding our efforts to bring new products and services to the marketplace," says Dr. David Simchi-Levi, founder and CEO of LogicTools. "Research and Development is part of our on-going commitment to client needs. Others may be reducing efforts in this area, but we are responding to positive client and industry feedback about demand for new supply chain technologies by increasing our investment."
