LogicTools’ Inventory AnalystTM Receives Powered by SAP NetWeaverTM Certification
Supply chain planning suite is complementary to SAP® Solutions

Chicago - April 26th 2005: LogicTools, a leading developer of supply chain planning solutions, announced today that Inventory Analyst 4.0TM has completed the Powered By SAP NetWeaverTM certification. Inventory Analyst, a strategic inventory positioning and optimization solution is part of LogicTools’ integrated suite of solutions that optimize the supply chain by considering the entire network, taking into account production, warehousing, transportation and inventory costs, as well as service level requirements. The suite also includes LogicNet Plus® for network design and LogicChain® for multi-site production sourcing.
The Powered By NetWeaver integration will allow SAP users to access to Inventory AnalystTM through the SAP® Enterprise Portal, access, transfer and search data from the Knowledge Manager and analyze reports in the Business Warehouse. The additional option of importing data from SAP APO allows for a full range of integration capabilities for all SAP users interested in LogicTools’ complementary solutions.
Inventory Analyst enables companies to make strategic inventory decisions based on the entire supply chain. This technology has produced large savings for companies by optimally locating and sizing inventory as well as determining effective push/pull supply chain strategies. For this purpose, LogicTools’ Inventory Analyst uses state of the art optimization algorithms that take into account uncertainties in supply and demand as well variability in processing and distribution times.
