LogicTools Takes Supply Chain Optimization to New Heights with New Releases of Planning Solutions
Companies are building supply chain practices around LogicTools Suite

Chicago - April 12th 2005: LogicTools, a leading provider of supply chain planning solutions, announced today new releases of its market leading supply chain planning solutions, LogicNet Plus® 4.0 for supply chain design and LogicChain® 7.0 for multi-site production sourcing. These new versions provide supply chain decision makers with even greater flexibility to easily build scenarios, troubleshoot models, efficiently optimize large-scale supply chains, and effectively identify and explain key supply chain cost drivers.

LogicNet Plus 4.0 is a major upgrade of LogicTools’ flagship network design solution. It brings the ease of use and power of LogicNet Plus to new levels while solidifying its leadership position in the market with advanced functionality capable of modeling the most complex and global supply chains. Typical customer applications include global manufacturing rationalization, post-merger analysis and long term distribution planning.

LogicChain 7.0 continues to improve on a unique product for multi-site production sourcing that provides the capability to determine various tradeoffs between production costs, capacities and lot sizes, tooling requirements, warehousing costs, transportation costs and service requirements. LogicChain helps bridge the gap between detailed production decisions and the impact of demand forecasts on the supply chain.
