LogicTools’ CEO David Simchi-Levi to address global supply chain planning issues at the SAP Insider Logistics & Supply Chain Management conference in Las Vegas

Chicago - February 14th, 2006: LogicTools, a leading developer of strategic supply chain planning solutions, announced today that its CEO, David Simchi-Levi, professor at MIT, will present case studies at the SAP Insider Logistics & Supply Chain Management conference February 27-March 1 in Las Vegas. One case study will focus on the impact of off-shoring on the global supply chain while the second will focus on new product introduction.
According to Professor Simchi-Levi, "Key inventory and manufacturing decisions are typically made on a local level but affect the supply chain globally, often leading to the inability to react quickly and execute necessary changes.
