LogicTools Continues to Grow and Prosper in 2004

Chicago - January 18th 2005: LogicTools, a leading provider of supply chain planning solutions, announces another banner year. The company continues to increase revenue and add new clients to its expansive list of users.

In 2004, LogicTools had a record profit and revenue grew by over 35% compared to 2003 with over 65% of revenue coming from software sales. The company maintained its strong balance sheet with no bank debt and significant revenue per employee.

LogicTools added 28 new clients in 2004 including many in newer verticals such as the chemical and retail industries as well as in its traditional CPG and manufacturing verticals. In particular, LogicTools reports significant increase in revenue from its product suite which includes LogicNet Plus®, its network design solution, Inventory Analyst™, its inventory positioning and allocation solution and LogicChain®, its multi-site production sourcing solution. Companies typically purchased either a combination of the suite products or the entire suite, deploying in many cases site or global licenses.

"LogicTools has been successful because of its ongoing focus on ease of use, high performance technology and customer service" said David Simchi-Levi, CEO of LogicTools, "With the expansion of off-shoring of US manufacturing and its impact on the global supply chain, we see an increase in the use of strategic supply chain planning. The ability to redesign the supply chain, reconsider inventory positioning, as well as production sourcing policies is an essential part of this new business model."

In early 2004, LogicTools became an SAP software partner for supply chain network design. LogicTools' network design solution, LogicNet Plus, is now offered as an extension to the mySAP SCM solution and has a certified integration with SAP APO. Later in the year, Inventory Analyst was "Certified for SAP NetWeaver" for Enterprise Portal 6.0. LogicTools' recognition as an SAP partner, its integration capabilities and the complementary nature of its solutions for SAP users has been an enormous boost for the company resulting in the addition of many SAP users to its customer list in 2004.

Throughout the year, LogicTools continued its work with consulting companies who find its easy to use and flexible solutions a boost to their practices. Some of the consulting firms who have used our solutions in 2004 include: Alaris Consulting, Bearing Point, Buck Consultants International, Envista, PRTM and St. Onge.

LogicTools also proceeded with the ongoing development and enhancement of the capabilities of its integrated suite of planning solutions. This includes LogicNet Plus for network design, Inventory Analyst for inventory planning and LogicChain for production sourcing. New releases of the entire suite came out in 2004 and some major releases are expected in 2005.

Finally, LogicTools will celebrate its 10th anniversary in August 2005. This milestone will be celebrated throughout the year with customers, partners and friends.
